Explore an exhibition of portraiture and figurative art that explores South Australian wine and ocean culture. Through a new series of drawings, Alex Beckinsale considers the conceptual and historical narratives that are shared between these two elements.

The works in this show are traditional charcoal and pastel drawings that focus on the feminine figure. Heavily influenced by the Pre Raphaelite movement the drawings look to reflect our interest with water, wine and the vessels that hold them.
