Life Drawing Clubs in Adelaide
Floating Goose Studios - They intermittently run FREE life drawing. It’s a beautiful gallery + community of local artists and art students, a model volunteers and sits in the same pose for 2 hours. Keep an eye on their social media for updates https://www.instagram.com/floatinggoosestudios
Adelaide Art Society - they run a HEAP of different groups/workshops/exhibitions. It’s very cool: http://www.adelaideartsocietyinc.com.au/sketch-groups/
Hubbe Court Life Drawing - runs every Thursday evening from 7 - 10pm and has short poses then ends in two 30 min poses. You might of met Sandra who organises the nights. It’s one of Australia’s longest running art groups: https://www.burnside.sa.gov.au/Community-Recreation/Arts-Culture/Community-Groups-Programs/Life-Drawing
CDW Studios - Uninstructed life drawing with a bit more of a bent for illustration/character design artists, so there are often props and costumes and all sorts of coo gestural poses (Zi models there a fair bit)- https://www.cdwstudios.com/about/life-drawing/
Norton Summit Life Drawing - I’ve not been to this one, but it’s a good option if you’re more up the hills sort of way: https://www.ahc.sa.gov.au/discover/events/life-drawing
Cerulean Studio - located in the Millswood/Goodwood area, they host life drawing every second Saturday of the month: https://www.ceruleanstudio.com.au/ourclasses
Campbelltown Art House - Runs the third Friday of every month. https://www.arthouse.org.au/classes-1
